Who we are

Makvishan Technology (“we”, “us”) runs makvishan.com and provides software products and services, including Makvishan Commerce and MonitHQ. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, business name, email, phone number, address and GST details when you contact us, request a demo, or sign up for our services.
• Account and billing information: details needed to set up and bill your services. Card and bank payments are handled by our payment partner, Razorpay; we do not store your card details.
• Usage information: pages visited, device and browser type, and IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working and improve it.

2. Data in our clients’ stores

When a business uses Makvishan Commerce, its store collects data from its own customers (such as names, addresses, phone numbers and orders). That business decides how this data is used and is responsible for it. We process it only on the business’s behalf, to run and support their store, and as their written agreement with us allows.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, set up, support and bill our services.
• To reply to your enquiries and send service updates.
• To send offers or newsletters, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep our services secure and meet legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our services — for example cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payments (Razorpay), shipping (Shiprocket) and messaging (email, SMS and WhatsApp providers) — and with authorities when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records).

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and encryption of sensitive data. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent you have given, by contacting us below. We will respond within the time required by law.
